The book gives his account of the abuse. They took him out of the home so there was some reason that he went to foster care.
The fact that he was placed in foster care to me is strong evidence that there was some type of wrong doing in the household. They don't put kids in foster care when both parents are alive for no reason.
He had been to many foster parents, she did go to jail. She even admitted to those crimes. Dave's brothers saw everything and told court too. Now tell me she didn't go to jail

In light of the Turpin family that just happened in January 15 2018. In which the mother,and father abuse their 13 kids rangeing from age 2, to 29 . I think he might have been telling the truth. It's 2019, and Little A.J Freund was reported missing by his parents in April. It was later revealed that his parents killed . But prior to that DCFS has received 17 reports of abuse, yet they did remove the kid. This happens in 2019, when Pelzer abuse took place it was in the 70's . Back they didn't have things in place the way they do now. Even if someone suspected, or knew there was little they can do beside report it. But since they often believe whatever the parents say, it's likely nothing would happen to the parents.
What, like there are other successful investigations from 1973? Crime Scene Investigation was a fledgling science then.
It was the 70. There wasn't the same laws as today. And there were evidence. From the school nurse office. And Richard, Dave's brother. Later wrote a book. Confirming Dave's story.
I have read more than one newspaper articles. There’s no way all the witnesses weren’t questioned. The fact you would assume he’s lying is a bit odd. Are you jealous cause he’s written successful books about the abuse? Such a terrible thing to say. Giving someone the benefit of the doubt when they tell you they have been victimized is the least we can do. Wonder why victims don’t come forward? Not asking you to put her in jail. I also find it difficult to believe he made all that up, and can still remember every incident. He would have screwed up, too many details. What a jerk.

No evidence? Pretty sure there are reports to corroborate. And the teachers who helps him are alo real people who have spoken out about this. 6 years late, but an ignorant comment is an ignorant comment! I hope you've become less ignorant in the years since.

I think your idea of evidence and the rest of the free world’s is vastly different if you honestly believe there was no evidence of Pelzer’s abuse. Why else would Child Protective Services remove him from his family if that were the case? There are countless stories he shares in his books about his harrowing ordeal at the hands of his sadistic egg donor. There was also physical evidence others witnessed and reported which eventually lead to someone finally intervening. This is proof enough that these things really did take place.
