Greater, much greater, to me. It's moving and, at times, emotionally devastating, each of the stories adding up to a sum greater than the parts. Childhood joys and fears poetically realized. Fahrenheit 451 is famous, and a darned good novel, but it isn't an emotional experience on that level.
