Sandra "Jeanz" Oh wow I have just finished reading In A Handful Of Dust and was hoping there was more. Definitely interested in the short stories you have written. Would love to read and review those for my blog too. When will the short stories be available? (hoping they will be available here in the UK?).
Thanks for the fantastic journey you took the readers on in the Not A Drop To Drink books. Loved them x

Mindy McGinnis Hi Sandra! One of the short stories I mentioned here has been included in the paperback edition of NOT A DROP TO DRINK which is available now: http://www.amazon.com/Not-Drop-Drink-... It focuses on Mother and her circumstances before the Shortage. I have another short that is about Mother, that may find it's way to readers someday :)

Regina I just finished this book last night. It is an amazing story, so well told and the characters are developed wonderfully. Thank you!

Mindy McGinnis Thank you Regina!

Cade Unbehaun I just finished this book, and its amazing! I usually cant get into this book, but I was hooked almost immediately from the start. I love how you make it seem as though Lynn is hard, but later in the book you begin to see her soft side. I also enjoy the cliffhangers, the spots where the chapter end and you have to go do something, but you just want to continue reading. Thank you so much!!!!

Micah I just wanted to add to this that I fell in love with your series, it is one of the most unique post-apocalyptic books I've read and has really stuck with me. I truly hope that your muse inspires you to write more in this series, it feels like there is more in that world to be discovered. To me, it has a feel of Mad Max meets Little House on the Prairie, and I would love to read more books with the tone you've brought to this series. Always a fan!
~Micah

Mindy McGinnis Oh! Mad Max meets Little House on the Prairie is probably the best comparison I've ever heard! I would definitely be interested in writing more, but in general, readership for a series tends to fall off, and the second book didn't sell well - that means my publisher is unlikely to greenlight a third. I know that's all business talk, and hardly inspiring. Never say never, there's always a chance!
