Well said. I like SK, but this one feels very uneven, and veeerrrry padded out (and repetitious).
Yeah, in spite of the fact I was a little hard on the book I really enjoy King. I had read a few Star Wars books growing up but when I got into my teens King was the author who turned reading from a school chore (or something to kill the boredom until the internet was invented) into one of my favorite hobbies. Having said that, while the man has multiple entries on my "Favorites" shelf he also has several on my "Worst Books I've Ever Read" shelf. With the number of books he's cranked out they can't all be winners.
