Janebbooks Well, I think the dream sequence at the beginning of THE LIKENESS is profound. It sets the stage for the story....and is a lovely set of "words." I often just read the "come-on"....it's like visiting Mandalay again....

Emmie I love that dream sequence too, and I hate dream sequences! I skip and eye roll... It was beautifully written and it drew me into the story as if I had been hypnotized!
I feel like it maybe worked so well because it was a flashback ?

Doug Mohr God speaks through dreams and visions so if it is an actual dream that you have better take it seriously. If it is just your imagination then your husband is write (pun).
