Thank you for taking the time to answer my question! When I reread your books, I can now better visualize the Rakhatians.
I am mentally blind -- cannot picture things like a lot of people. It's all verbal for me, so I gave a detailed anatomical description of the Runa through Anne's eyes. She was an anatomist, as I was!
Whenever I respond to one of those favorite literary characters, Anne is my answer. Loved her.
She was an aspirational character for me. I wanted to imagine a couple in their 60s, with a satisfying long-term marriage. Don and I have caught up to George and Anne!
