Observation Hill came in part from a tourist train ride I took from Duluth, Mn to Two Harbors, Mn with my bike on the seat next to me. I rode the 25 miles back. I wish I could say the plot was all laid out by my arrival. The seed of MURDER and WRONGFUL death at opposite ends of town, however, had sprouted and was taking root.
