Karla That books are very well likely to push someone over the edge was proved in 1774, when a dozen young people killed themselves after the first release of J.W. Goethe’s "Werther". The phenomenon of literature/films/media luring young people to end their lives is till this day called the "Werther-effect". Goethe wrote a second "mitigated" edition later in life in order to picture the suicide less tempting.

Do not underestimate the power of literature!
