Pat I just heard Alan Towles speak. The book he's working on now is about 2 boys traveling (hitchhiking?) across America (!). He says he likes varied subjects in order to keep up his interest. It cant be better than A Gentleman in Moscow!

Ramona I will be looking out for Alan Towles new book. Not sure that the perspective of 2 boys hitchhiking will be to my liking, but I'll give it a try.

Pat My thought exactly. But I also believe anything written by him has to be great.

Ramona I agree, Pat. I think he puts a lot of thought into his writing.

Kristen Wouldn’t you love to read a pre-quel to Gentleman?? I mean, I guess I’d rather read whatever Amor Towles has in mind to write, but I am so curious as to the early life of Alexander as well as his Grandmother and the Grand Duke.

Ramona Good idea; maybe Amor Towles will write a prequel as per your suggestion. :)
