Excellent suggestion, Carly! I'm half way and throughly enchanted.

I loved Bel Canto. I was right along for the ride in this well crafted story.

And the ending, yikes!

It reminded me of that as well! Something about the wry narration, maybe.

I've just purchased Bel Canto on my Kindle.

I did read Bel Canto....not as good as A Gentleman in Moscow, but an interesting concept.

How does Bel Canto compare to Commonwealth?

I personally liked Bel Canto a lot more than Commonwealth
