I've always pictured it as Gruene/New Braunfels. I wish PS was a real place, though.
Just got back on Saturday from a "girl" trip with my daughter to Fredericksburg. I think of you every time we drive down 281 because of the wonderful small towns we go through. I adore Hamilton for some reason.
I have a friend in West, Texas. It sounds like a place that is frozen in time, in so many ways. That's where the fertilizer plant blew up, remember? IF I ever went to Texas, I would want to visit there first for Jac, whom I've known online for 17 years, and the town with the Czech bakeries and the rebuild West Rest Home. The story of how half the town ran in the direction of the explosion to help is extraordinary. Jack left her truck and ran into the burning home ( age 68) to help... someone took her truck used it to transport people to hospital and returned it a day or two later, with the keys under the mat. Now, many people there suffer from PTSD, thunder storms and fireworks are torture. I've heard stories about them for years, and I would like to meet them.
