Khairuddin Ayubzai Thanks a world Ralph! Every word in your excellent response would be an inspiration for me in the coming years. Also, I will plan to read one of your books as soon as
I can. Please suggest one of your best written novels as a starting point. Already I am your number ONE fan. Thanks again for your precious time. Please let me know!

Ralph Thanks very much for the good words. I don't think I would recommend any of my books as models for aspiring writers. I write merely to entertain, to give readers, for at least a few hours, entry into a better world than our own, to introduce them to characters better than the people we know, to take them on adventures that have some meaning and nobility of purpose. My Sherlock Holmes stories are popular, especially "Cthulhu Mythos Adventures." If you want a good steampunk science fiction novel, I'd recommend "Amidst Dark Satanic Mills," second book in the series. A book that has turned out to be surprisingly popular (surprising at least to me) is my latest book, "Murder in the Goblins' Playground," a traditional British mystery. If you go to my Goodreads bookshelves, you'll find them categorized by interests, and some great books for readers and writers. I haven't looked at my bookshelves in a while, but I think I have some for general fiction writers and crime writers in particular. All my own books are gathered on the bookshelf cleverly labeled "Mine," and that's a good place to start if you really want to inflict one of my books on yourself.
