I think you need to expand your horizons or you clearly haven't lived long enough or read enough books to make that assessment Miss.
I agree with Katharine to some extent... I have read extraordinary pieces of literature and the Shadowhunter series made for an exciting and thrilling bit of light reading. I can't say I'm not a fan... I absolutely loved it :)))
The things you're describing sound unhealthy and terrifying. I'm staying far away, thank you kindly.

I read the tough books, and then I read the fun ones, The Mortal Instruments are a blast. I agree with you Katherine, big fun. <3
