Jaime That sounds Amazing! I would love to see how the new pack thrives and continues.. and of course I want to meet Milo's pack now :)

Rebecca James I have been wondering for a while how readers feel about Brooks v. Jax. I see some real dislike for Jax. I may give some of Brooks' pov in the next book.

Anthea You absolutely have to do a fourth book. It'd be wrong not to. I NEED to know how River and his new pack get on. I'm getting withdrawals from those guys already.

Rebecca James <3 Cheryl. I won't let you down. :)

Cherie Noel I'm currently reading Third Mate. U love this series and sincerely hope you continue to write in this world. I definitely want to hear about the new pack River, Josiah, and company are seeking to create. I'd also love to read a spin off series about Milo's Angel Hills pack. It would even be awesome to see what becomes of the pack River and Josiah leave behind. The world building is awesome...you've got me hooked.

Cherie Noel Derp...meant I love...stupid fat thumbs and tiny keyboard!

Rebecca James Hi, Cherie, and thank you! So glad you are enjoying the books. I am currently writing book 4, which will tell about River and his group and also the Angel Hills pack. There will be some peaks at the former pack, too. :)

Avalie So pleased to hear you are writing Book 4. I really like Jax. Like everyone else, want to find out what happens next and how the coyote finds his mate and will they stay with River's pack. I have been surprised how much I have enjoyed the series as I really dislike mpreg - probably one of reasons I like Jax so much! LOL

message 9: by Rebecca (new)

Rebecca James I am glad to hear you like Jax as several readers have said they don't!

Rebecca James Update: I have decided to split the two--write a book all about Angel Hills and another all about River and the others who left. One of them will be out in November.

message 11: by Jan (new)

Jan I like your writing but I feel trying to confirm to what you think others like is giving it slightly racist overtones. How everyone is angry Jax wont convert and that brooks is a better fit as he is more like them. How no matter what the original couple did they would not be accepted, It is showing intolerance and how people target people of colour/homosexuals or anyone they consider not fitting in. Please do not fall for the idea because it might not seem so but when you read it it is showing that the alienate any non wolves and consider them below them. you write well but the third book has been showing the above mentioned behaviour especially with David

Rebecca James Jan, my books do reflect our society, so if you're saying "racist" in terms of wolves and non-wolves, there is that. I'm not condoning it, I'm showing it. But if you're saying that I am in any way being racist because Jax has been described to have "carmel-colored skin," what has gone on with his character has never had anything to do with that. In fact, this makes me realize that I need to show people of color within the wolf group because I never deliberately meant them to be all white-skinned (and I've never actually said they all were.) Thank you for your thoughts, and I'm happy you've enjoyed my books. The fourth one came out last month.

Jan I am glad you made the character a POC and like I said I like your writing , I was saying how in the book the non wolves are considered lesser and that everyone was happy to destroy Jax and David's relationship based on something he was born as(human). They could have adopted if David wanted but the problem was that he was non wolf that is what I understood. I may be wrong if so I take it back but Brooks was the acceptable choice because he was wolf and everyone likes him because of the same, Jax would always be the human.
But again you are right society is like that now and it would be nice if racism did not exist, so I guess you are showing that wolves and humans should not love in that world? I am sure racism has always existed but love triumphed too.
anyway all the best for your books and am glad for your comments
