I loved the first 4-5 Vorkosigan, then it got long and very very dull. Don't know Vatta's War, will have a look Thank you!

Downbelow Station was good but I don't like the rest of CJ Cherryh's stuff. I guess that makes us even... :)
I like hard sci-fi but not fantasy etc. The Union-Alliance universe series is mostly superb.
