I felt just as discombobulated when I started The Lollipop Shoes, and again with Peaches for Monsieur le Curé! Both fabulous books though :)

I simply loved Choclolat, was excited to read Lolipop Shoes and so pleased that a third came along in the form of Peaches.

I too felt Chocolat was in another era...just has that feel about it. I loved Lollipop shoes and I'm thoroughly enjoying Peaches at the moment.
