Grace Gives the author a headache too! But it's the best kind of headache to have--all these characters, and only so many hours a day to write their stories!

Doris Lee I'm not saying that it's a rule, I'm just saying that I've noticed other authors tend to have the highest-ranking noble clans they write about as the biggest and most sociable (S. Laurens' Cynsters, for example, seem to have friends and associates in just about every corner of British society due to having 20 first cousins to write about in the first generation, and it took her 15 years to complete their stories, not to mention those of their in-laws, friends and associates and the start of the second gen's stories too). I don't think that it's a good thing to write about EVERY CHILD in the same generation, it just gives the poor reader a headache and fear that said author will never finish all 30+ stories about the second gen before they pass away :( I really hope you aren't going to write about every child of your existing characters, because I'm fearful that it would take too long to complete all of their stories.
