That was how I felt about these books. I wish you could've either tried putting all of your original manuscripts into the one series (Lonely Lords, of course) or organised them into different series based on one family each (the Haddonfields, the Alexander-Worthingtons and the Windhams respectively, with the remaining men grouped into the same series).
That would have made much more sense, but I wasn't calling those shots. I'll eventually get rights back on the Lonelys, though not on the Windhams, which makes re-organizing something of a puzzle.
I also wonder if Darius was picked over Gareth because D's premise seemed more morally acceptable than G's (being paid to father a married and titled woman's child to ensure the title's succession and the mother's financial security is more acceptable than a spinster being forced to lose her virginity so as to ensure her sister's and her own financial security? Really? I thought they were on the same moral level)?
