Ah I didn't think you would respond! Haha. Wow. Umm...really and truly I would love to see Samantha and ...Jake? Back. Because they really were the heart of the story (to at least) alongside the Phantom Stallion himself but those two characters, the most. Others would probably disagree with me.
I completely agree, Kate! I second what you said, it'd be great to see both Samantha and Jake again. I just finished hunting down the entirety of the Phantom Stallion series for myself/my classroom. I read the series in my preteen years and would love a final/special!
Ah hello! And yes I loved Samantha/Jake so much when I was younger and even wrote my own little fan-fic of them living together and all that stuff when I was younger. I found them amazing characters. I still have the whole series XD I drove my mother nuts each time another book was published because I wanted it! I haven't run across another good series like this in a very long time.
I think it would be great to have another book. I have all the books as well. I would like to maybe see more of Cody Sam's little brother. I'd also like to see maybe more about Sam training Tempest.
I totally agree! I've read every book in the series and I am working on reading the Wild Horse Island series. after reading the Phantom Stallion series I dreamed for months about what would happen with Sam and all the characters, (especially Sam and Jake). So pleeease hurry up and get that book published! Also, what about starting another series that takes place maybe a few years later, like right after high school?
I've read all 13 books except for #8. I've been trying to find the rest of the series and I'm having a hard time doing it. Is there anywhere close to Shallotte, NC where I can find these books or on the internet? I'm so hooked!!! Would love to keep reading!!!
I agree with everyone else!!! I would love to see Sam and Jake a lot more! They are definitely the heart of the story! I first started reading these books in 5th grade and have now read the entire Phantom Stallion Series and the Island Stallion series at least three times! I hate whenever a good series ends and would love to see another book or even better, another series!
I second Eyana's idea! A second series would be AMAZING--especially one that started either right away OR right after high school. I just finished a re-read (summer after graduation from college) and I loved how it was, at the same time, a trip down memory lane (my preteen self adored this series) and a new, older appreciation for the characters and story. I really do love all of them--especially Sam, and yes ok, maybe Jake too. ;) They had chemistry, as friends and more, and just really, Sam was a great, strong, brave, relatable heroine. Her thoughts and determined actions paired so well with the interesting storyline about the Phantom and Co. Oh and also, on an unrelated note--any more supernatural/fantasy standalone in the future, like the selkie Seven Tears Into the Sea?
Jake, totally, completely Jake! He and Sam have something very special and it would be great to see that unravel in a grand finale. They totally belong together!
I would love more of the Phantom Stallion series! I am reading the series over again for the 3rd or 4th time and it is just as amazing as it was the first time reading. And I'm sure you hear this all the time but we need more Sam and Jake! Can't wait to see what is in store.
I'd like to hear about cody and tempest when theyre older. Especially tempest when sam starts breaking her in and riding her. I think it would be neat to read about them racing together. If u wud put phantom stallion the protector in a book that wud be gr8. Its hilarious.
ID love to have a couple more books to both series! I bought the whole set of phantom stallion and wild horse island.
