Yes, that is too common. And somewhat disappointing. However, they state at he bottom of their messages: "You are receiving the United States edition of BookBub and some deals may not be available outside this region. ". So, the exact marketing reasons and possible regional rights issues are unknown, but at least we're warned. But still disappointed.
