Warning: I am currently in the middle of read The Crown. Spoilers ahead.
The only reason I'm on Goodreads right now and not reading is that I wanted to see if anyone else agreed with me on Hale-is-gay thing. I am convinced he is. He is on a date with Ead and he is talking about his best friend (a girl) that he has never felt attracted toward and that the thought of kissing her makes him sick. I also feel no chemistry between Ead and Hale, like he's trying really hard to be a suitor but falling into the best friend category instead.

Ok, thank God. I thought that I was he only person that thought that Hale was gay.

i am pretty sure that you had read the crown before wtitting this comment cause how could you possibly know that Hale is gay???
Also it is Eikko (not Eicco) and he doesn't turn out shady or something like that
and eikko and eadlyn are loving each other.
