Oh yes, I signed up for the giveaway, and I love to suggest purchases for my library! Not a native New Englander, but my heart is there! I went to high school in Newport, and spent much time in New Hampshire. We're retired in Arizona, never to leave, unfortunately! I do miss the seasons and so much else! My husband grew up in Massachusetts, but he no longer has family there so we don't get to go back any more. Nancy Wake is a biography of a very colorful Australian woman who was active in the Resistance, by Peter FitzSimons. Very readable, and it's a great audio book as well. Another favorite was Fall from Grace, by Larry Collins. Not sure whether this goes only to you or whether it will be posted on goodreads. It's really meant for you!
How lucky you are to live in Arizona, Eileen--no cold winter to deal with.
I love the idea of Nancy Wake--it sounds right up my alley and LOVE audio books. Thanks for the suggestions, Eileen and fingers crossed you get lucky with the Goodreads Giveaway!
Not to worry! I'll read it either way! And I'll put a reminder in my calendar to follow up with the library when it gets closer to the publication date.
