message 51: by MGab (new)

MGab I finished the Kricket trilogy in two days, and I want more of it. Please just write it and don't listen to your publisher.

message 52: by Allie (new)

Allie Please, please , please even a novelette would be great!

message 53: by Allie (new)

Allie Is there any word on a fourth Kricket book? I noticed this question started in Sept 2015.

message 54: by Charla (new)

Charla PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!!

message 55: by Allie (new)

Allie WHOOT!!! There is hope for more Kricket!!!! Amy responded on Facebook today...
Amy A. Bartol I've been speaking to my agent about this. I started writing something with the Kricket characters. Not sure if it's a 4th book or a new series of books. I don't have a contract to publish it, so I'd have to figure that out. I am under contract to write 2 more books in a new series, so that will take a lot of my time and I have to make that my priority, but I know I have to write more for Kricket because the characters just won't leave me alone. So stay tuned...

Amy, Thank you, thank you, thank you for the hope of more Kricket.

message 56: by Samantha (new)

Samantha Sophia What is your publisher's name. I need a writing campaign.

message 57: by Amanda (new)

Amanda Kriesch For real!! I still haven't given up hope!! I reread them all of the time and just think of what happens when she got to Earth.

message 58: by Jovan Daisy (new)

Jovan Daisy So has your publisher decided? (Not so patiently waiting) !!

message 59: by Jane (new)

Jane Delaney What did your publisher say? I know you are coming out with an entirely new series, which I am very excited to read, but it would be wonderful if you could give your fans an update? And you have every right to choose not to continue the series and I fully support you no matter what, but I really really like the world you built with Ethar and I loved the characters.
Honestly, even an epilogue or a novella would be wonderful.
Thanks again and hope you have a wonderful summer!

message 60: by Dawn (new)

Dawn Here's hoping for a 4th book. Curious to see what kind of trouble Kricket gets into back on Earth :)

message 61: by Heather (new)

Heather I just felt there was so much left unfinished at the end of book 3. Not to mention how curious i am about life on earth for Krickett and Phlix.

message 62: by Kellie (new)

Kellie im starting an online petition to the publisher, no like seriously.

message 63: by Jocelyn (new)

Jocelyn I loved the series! It's one of those kinds of books that leave you with a really long hang-over and make you contemplate on what could happen. I'm split between keeping the series as it is versus continuing on with Kricket as the narrator. To me, it seems that it proved Kricket is headstrong, resilient and unselfish which makes the ending very fitting. But it also left me wanting to see her find her own happiness. Maybe the next books could have Trey or Kyon as the narrator especially since both have pledged their undying love for her. Can they truly just let her go?

message 64: by [deleted user] (new)

I loved the way it ended. It was really the perfect ending... Going from two moons to one- the symbolism between it and Kricket- with the whole world ahead of her to keep her company. Beautiful. It broke my heart. Worst book hangover ever. I need Amy Bartol to write TONS more books. I loved the paper heart! I've been scouring goodreads for a new series but I am just too attached to her characters!

message 65: by Sarah (new)

Sarah I have reread this series over and over!! Love Kricket! There is no way Kyon would not come after her!! We NEED a 4th book please please!! I love the idea of Kyon perspective!!

message 66: by Precious (new)

Precious Send us a link to your publisher. #kricket4. Thanks for the amazing journey. I feel like I’m stepping into an alternative reality of wonderful limitless imagination and possibilities. Thanks for being the first author I plan to read to my children.

message 67: by Tamunia (new)

Tamunia Chiqobava Hello, Amy.. Just wanted to say how much I love Kricket series and am dying to know what happens next. I hope your publisher reconsidered already and you'll finish the story (of course if you want to).
Anyway, thank you for amazing stories.

message 68: by Kailee (new)

Kailee This trilogy is the best I've read in a very long time. I desperately need to know more. I hope your publisher is seeing all of these requests for more books! I need to know that Kyon and Trey follow her! Team Kyon all the way... ;)

message 69: by Sarah (new)

Sarah B Just finished this series and am with everyone else on this string: please write more about these worlds and characters!!! And soon.

message 70: by Hana (new)

Hana I hope this happens!

message 71: by Laurie (new)

Laurie Please! The ending was wonderful and an apt one for Kricket, but there is so much more that could be told. This cannot be the end for her in Ethar!

message 72: by Büşra'M (new)

Büşra'M will you write a 4th book?? please reconsider at least publishing a longer epilogue because the third book was so unfinished

message 73: by Esther (new)

Esther Vargas Maybe it's insistent, but please, that there are more Kricket books. Your story can not end there. Thank you, you are one of the best writers.

message 74: by Vera (new)

Vera Agreed. Same as Tahareh Mafi's Shatter Me book 3 felt unfinished, this series does too. Finally Tahareh recognized that more was needed, and continue the series. The same should apply here. THe book is unfinished. It just is. Some books end on cliffhangers and that is okay. However, this one didn't really wrap anything up, and it almost feels like it was pointless in reading it, because it never came into a fully developed conclusion. My guess is maybe the publisher pressured you to finish? Not sure, but I think that may have been a really bad business decision on his/her part. It needs another book. Whether she remains on earth, returns to one of her love interests etc...it needs a finish. I, for one, am very much team Kyon. He is the only one that loved her for her, flaws and all. I hope you are one day given the opportunity to continue with it.

message 75: by Dee/ bookworm (new)

Dee/ bookworm Ms. Bartol, I loved the first two books in the Kricket series but the third one left me wanting. Kricket went from a force of nature to a cowed, scared girl. Trey went from her fiercest ally to a selfish I don't even know. Kyon, I almost wanted to like him but not really. You shook every character out of their mold and I didn't feel any resolution. Please write another book.

message 76: by Jane (new)

Jane Delaney If your publisher won't agree to Kricket #4, consider going indie! Pretty sure the book will sell like hotcakes and I'll be first in line. XD

message 77: by Zuny (new)

Zuny Loved the Kricket series. Wonderfully imaginative and great characters! Joining the rest of your fans in requesting book #4. Thank you for writing such an entertaining series.

Meghan Hendershot We need a Kricket #4. The ending of Darken was too much. I actually threw my Kindle across the room out of anger. There are so many unanswered questions. Please, please, please close the loopholes and write another.

message 79: by Jessye (new)

Jessye I LOVED the kricket series. I can honnestly say that it is one of my favorite series. I usually avoid series that have more than 3 books: but I would DEFINETLY make an exception for Kricket. :) Thank you for writing such a great story; you definetly have talent.

message 80: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer I want to cry at the thought of there not being another book to this series. You left so many things open. It is enough to drive a person crazy!.. Kyon is not just gonna let her run off to earth.. Trey might because he thinks he is saving her, but not Kyon, he would fight to the end of the universe to be with her.

Please don't let this be the end!

message 81: by Melany (new)

Melany Bagang PLEASE ADD MORE BOOKS to the Kricket series!!!!

message 82: by Jenn (new)

Jenn Bennington It is a good idea! I love Kricket. Please, more Kricket!

message 83: by Tamunia (new)

Tamunia Chiqobava Amy :( Please, don't leave us hanging. At least tell us if there is a teeny-tiny chance of the forth book.

message 84: by Tenmodo (new)

Tenmodo Need more Kyon! Really hope a fourth book is being considered...

pouchann d gibson it’s definitely a good idea

message 86: by Ashley (new)

Ashley Hostetter its a great idea! I honestly compare every book i read to this series!

message 87: by Vera (new)

Vera I think of this series as the one that "got away" in terms of it having potential for being a great series, but falling flat due to the ending. It's unfinished. I understand the intent but the execution was poor. It needs a real ending. So...end it. Right now it's false ending is irritating and ruins the entire series.
