I am enjoying working on Outremer, James, and Richard will get to make a few appearances, of course. I am fighting a losing battle with the deadline dragon, though, and they make dreadful roommates!
Interesting idea! Wouldn't Richard have been the 'kill them all and let God sort them out' kind of leader? If think if he'd been kind then, we'd still be English colonies!
I agree totally with you, we would all be talking with a British accent.
Which British accent? The British themselves talk in many different accents, so no reason for their colonies on the other side of the world to speak in one of the British ones!

PS I have thoroughly enjoyed your books, they bring history alive. I am looking forward to Outreamer.
