Helen Yes but it doesn't make sense if both babies were supposedly on the plane. The bracelet being found near the plane only proves L-R was on board, not that this particular baby is L-R. She could easily have died in the crash with her bracelet found among the debris and Emilie surviving. It's not conclusive at all and just doesn't make sense (like a lot of this book)!

Kartikey Shandilya Yeah i know that it would not have been conclusive but "desperate times, desperate measures". Those people were looking for anything that would help them determine the identity of the baby and that bracelet would have been something like a needle in haystack. As for making sense, the book was senseless at some points. But, it was a good read.

Plum-crazy Totally agree with you Helen. I thought the exact same thing - unless the bracelet was on the baby, finding it would have proved nothing.

judith No way the bracelet was sucked off the arm of the baby who remained trapped inside the plane. If the bracelet was outside, so was the baby who was wearing it.
