Hayley I was thinking this - I'm re-reading for the 4th time I generally hate alternate points of view as they always seem a bit superfluous to a story but Ruuel is such an opaque character - I'd love to know what goes through his head. Like - I get he was being all logical to stay away from her, but was it as hard for him to do so as it was for her to not stare longingly at him? And he must have known his quiet rejection was hurting her - how did he deal with knowing he was hurting someone he cared about, even if he believed he had a good reason to do so? Sigh. LOVE Ruuel!
