Kim "Alternate version" is how I like to view all media adaptations of books. Instead of just the books, we get additional, alternate universe, versions. I enjoyed the tv show as a different take the Otherworld.

Adalis I'm a fan of the show. Even if it's an alternate version of the books, the show has gotten me interested enough to want to read them.

Zee I saw the show and it made me want to read the books [I just finished "Thirteen", and I read all the short stories too :)]. The only thing I disliked on the show is the way they depicted Clay, I loved him in the books - particularly "Beginnings", but the actor in the show just fell really short of the mark for me. Please keep writing more stories set in this world, I'm so invested in these characters and I'm really going to miss them...

Lata Didn't care much for the series -- totally prefer the books, which I love!

Jo Lol @Zee my favorite thing about Otherworld is Clay! So if they've messed him up, I'll most likely skip the show.

Nancy Eaton love the books like the series

message 7: by Leslie (new)

Leslie Enjoyed the first season - some deviation from the books and had to adjust my images of the characters somewhat. Second season - lots of deviation from the books - trying to go with the flow vs a constant comparison to the books. Which I am rereading. Read one and a half last night. :)

L Bongiorno How in the world can you restrain yourself from seeing it?!? Your books were the inspiration.
I think the show is getting better:)

message 9: by Sally (new)

Sally I don't how it's different from your books, as I haven't read them yet, but I love the series!! :)

message 10: by Carson (new)

Carson I love the show, but I'd imagine you'd be upset that Clay isn't Daniel Craig like you once said at a book signing.
