- flash & external hard drives named Cordelia, Elli, Caprica (Battlestar Galactica), Amelia (after Amy Pond), Idris (human form of the TARDIS), Spike (after Adora Belle Dearheart), Kaylee (Firefly), May (Toby Daye).

- E-readers named Faith (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Galadriel and Kaylin (Elantra).

- My laptop is Inara, and my current smartphone is Tauriel (Hobbit films).

- My PlayStation 3 is named Luna (Toby Daye) and my Xbox 360 is Ista, with a hard drive named Ijada and memory cards Iselle and Isara. :)

I go all round FSF for names for my electronics... *laughs* It's a fun pastime since I'll never have kids to find names for, and I got my present (& hopefully for at least the next ten years) cat with her name already chosen. She's Gemma, but I call her Gem, as she's a tortoiseshell with beautiful emerald eyes, and she answers to the short form of her name - I didn't change it because she was already 7 when she came to me. :) But I've named pets from all over FSF in the past, too - and why not? :)

We named our dog Laisa.

I named my Sims Free Play (on iPad) people after your characters.

My son is named Miles, although I did not win the argument for the middle name of Vorkosigan! Many thanks for so many wonderful books over the years.

I name my network nodes after locations in your books.

I have cats named Ivan You Idiot, and Simon. Late kitties were named Cordelia and Roland Miles (long story there). We also have a Gandalf and Matilda after different literary characters.
