Patricia Depends where you live. Unless you live in the high country there isnt any snow in winter. In fact in northern Australia there is no real winter, only a wet and a dry season.

Laura In Brisbane, Queensland the two seasons are hot and not-so-hot! It has never snowed in Brisbane. After living in CO during the winter, I've realised how lucky I am to have a georgeous sunny winters day with the high of 22 degrees (71F for Americans)!

Marianne Depends on where in Australia. Northern Australia it doesnt snow but down south, such as Tasmania (the small island at the bottom) and Victoria it does snow. We do have the Australia Alps where it does snow also
