Stephen Hi. I watched the episode again, and it seems as though Dany's lips say, "Fly," but the audio is "Valahd." "Valahd" is Finnish for fire. Does that have anything to do with what happened? I wanted to know.

David Peterson I heard "fly" when I saw it. I didn't have anything to do with "Valahd" at all. I have no idea what that is.

lyrae (must comment that "valahd" is not Finnish for fire, it doesn't mean anything in Finnish. "Tuli" means fire.)

David Peterson Hey, just wanted to update comments here: It turns out it's actually just the Dothraki word "valad" (different spelling; same pronunciation). I discuss this in full in my blog post here.
