Thanks. That's what I thought happened, but I wanted to make sure. I basically missed the part about the bodies not being recovered.
After stopping on the icy river, next to Eric, Travis stands up looking for Charley. He immediately sinks down into river, drown. His body is the one that is eventually caught by cottonwood roots and stays in an underwater cave to decompose. After Eric ties the bag with Jordan’s decapitated head to his body and dumps it in the river, I don’t think we ever hear if his body is found.
