I started reading fools first as well, and at the mention of the price of thorns, which I also had, I stayed reading that book until the two paths crossed at the Tall Castle. So yes it works both ways.
I also went from Fools to Thorns, and was thrilled that there was more from Mark. Although set in the same world, I found the tone different and awesome. Different tones for different characters and stories. Well done Mr. Lawrence. I can't wait for the next chapter in the Broken Empire.
This world will stick with me for the rest of my life, I sincerely thank you! You deserve way more recognition than you currently recieve. You have a permanent place in my top 3 favorite authors, i will buy any book you release!
