I read both books through to the end if "skim reading" counts. I entirely agree with your assessment--both a complete waste of time.

Thanks for your support Laura. I thought that maybe I was a wee harsh in my assessment. I recently read a wonderful novel called 'A Little Life' that is definately worth the time. (It is a big book!)
