I agree with everything you said!! I love Rowan but I agree they will most likely end up as friends!!

I don't totally disagree, but because Aeidon is alluded to as her cousin in the synopsis, that makes me think their relationship won't be romantic...
I agree with you completely! I don't know about anyone else, but the fact that a Galanthynius-Ashyver marriage was even mentioned hints at a possible union. Also, does anyone find it funny that the concept of the fae's mate was introduced in Heir of Fire? It just so happens that in the book following Heir of Fire, Queen of Shadows, Aeiln is supposedly on her way to save Aedion; who happens to be fae as well. Coincidence? I think not!
Personally, I hope it isn't Aedion. The way he talks about "helping" her isn't really with her desires in mind. He doesn't want her involved in any of it. His desire to aid and protect her seems to come from a selfish, paternalistic viewpoint. I think Aedion will be sorely disappointed to see the capable, independent woman that Aelin has become. And I think that Aelin will chafe beneath his need to be in control when "helping" her.
Rowan found A mate. Sarah j maas has commented that it hasnt been brought up in the story, but the fae can find more than one mate. Sort of like humans, but more binding. When a man's wife dies he still loves her, but he can move on and be with someone else.
Also Aedion and Aelin are first cousins. His mother was aelin's aunt
I freaking love aedion but he is her cousin!!! so no to them being to gether. and I am glad he is her cousin because I almost love him as much as rowan and if he was not her cousin I am not sure who I would pick for her. BUT OMG ROWAN!!!!! SWOON!!!!!!
They never said you can't have a second mate.
yeah I was wondering that too! but since it is so rare then I doubt that you would get two.
