Hi Katie, I just looked up your next release on the kobo store and they are listing it as the first book in a new series instead of connecting it to your previous bounty hunter books. Is there anyway that can be fixed? Thanks!
Hi Rita—With the switch to trade paperbacks, my publisher is marketing my new books as a new series. However, The Scenic Route, Felicity’s story, starts right where the second Bounty Hunters book, Risk It All, left off.
Well that’s annoying. I prefer my series to be labeled correctly in my ereader. Ever since they introduced trade paperbacks publishers have been messing up series uniformity all over the place. Heavy sigh! I will still buy your books.
It is frustrating, I know! My publisher might re-release the first two books in the series as trade, but that’s not a certainty yet. I appreciate you still reading, despite the mismatch!
Seriously it was a very poor marketing decision on their part. Anyone looking for the sequel to the previous series might miss out, and anyone coming in new will notice that this is not in fact the first book and will be coming in, in the middle. Personally I like the previous style of covers better, but I think I’m in the minority there.
What is the updated timeline as these books still aren't out?
