But why wasn't she capable of addressing her depression? She's fully aware of her black cloud, her fake selves, & her mom's mental illness, so why doesn't a well educated worldly young person tire of her relentless misery & at least reach out for help even once in her whole life?! Kinda makes this story pointless.
@judith because that's what depression does...it robs you of the ability to have any hope or see a way forward...
Right, but people do seek & get treatment for depression every day, & with her level of awareness, she wasn't helpless.
