thanks for your answer! I really enjoyed all of the series, but I must say it was really nice for Lords of Misrule to come back to focus on the Maxwell family. The entire family dynamic of the Maxwells in The Black Madonna is the best and my favorite family dynamic I've read in literature. I loolk forward to anything you do plan on writing in the future!
I agree the English Civil War novels are by far your best. I have always appreciated Felix/Toby Maxwell (in fact, all the Maxwells) and Gabriel is by far your finest hero.
