I think you are dead right. A fresh start was needed because of the nasty rumors that would have followed Julian in that small village. The address that the airman gave her would have connected her to him and Oregon.
I agree! I think this is spot on. And I believe Antoine was with her because I think at the beginning on the book it mentions something like "in the months since her husband died." Yes, I have restarted this book again immediately after finishing it! :)

I agree! I think this is spot on. And I believe Antoine was with her because I think at the beginning on the book it mentions something like "in the months since her husband died." Yes, I have restarted this book again immediately after finishing it! :)
