You wrote 3 books in three months........you were the Flash of book writing!! But alas, you have slowed down some.
Dan, I'm guessing you're joking, but for those _others_ who don't know that... Writing Night Angel took six years. They just all published in three months. Those books were 155k, 155k, 170k. In the next two years, I wrote Black Prism (203k). In the next two years, I wrote Blinding Knife (215k). In the next two years, I wrote Broken Eye (300k). Indeed, if I'm not careful, I may become Sandersonian. (No, not really.)
Every couple of years is absolutely fine by me - its the authors who take years and years, whilst still finding time to put out several random prequels in the interim, who really grind my gears. I was going to say "no prixes for guessing who" but, when I think about it, I know of at least 3 authors who take ludicrous amounts of time to write a book, despite putting out lesser work in the meantime :D
Ya congrats Brent for not being like the one old bastard who cant finish a series but let the tv series finish or the other bastard who wrote 2 books out of a trilogy, gets wildly famous, thinks hes the first bastard, quits writing and just play video games. When his series had the potential to be 12 books deep by now

Of course, so that there is Balance in all things, all George R. R. Martin achieved today was a Carriage Return.

Correct. In the time it took you to write this comment, Brandon Sanderson has written seven novels.
