Thank you. I do agree that the universe is an expression of the Mind of God and that it was created purposefully. You then say, "...shot through with the divine down to the quantum level." That is 'shot through with the divine' in the 'one can know that God exists by appreciating and pondering Creation' sense, or the sacramental sense, 'the invisible reality of God can be made known through the visible reality of Creation' correct? You do not mean it in any pantheistic sense, do you? You did not mean to deny that God is above and outside of Creation, did you? Can you give an example of the sacrifice required by the universe? Thanks again.
No, I'm not a pantheist. I am a traditional Roman Catholic.
The ultimate sacrifice, of course, was the Passion of Jesus Christ. This is the most necessary and important event in history.
Now...I should probably provide some context. The quote is from the main villain of my book. He understands that the universe is sacramental (infused with the divine, purposeful). But he has twisted the meaning of the words.
