Jamie oh I like this take! There was a point where fan-Leo was getting increasingly agitated over her ignoring his advice, and then he got really uncomfortably upset about the overabundance of hoodies in the chapter after he suggested she add them... I like this angle. I had the audiobook version so I didn't have a good way to check back, so I'm glad you noticed and mentioned the last words for both characters as I think that makes the author's purpose more clear.

Rebecca Yeah, I think I agree with this angle. It makes so much more sense to me.

Jaelin I agree with this, but also the end makes me think instead of it being she ignored all his advice, she added him and he's saying "I thought you'd need me" and they did need someone to help since they were covered in blood? So confused lol!

Alison Rose But the character in the book is Freddie, not Hannah. The "I" character is Freddie talking, not Hannah. So it's Freddie seeing Leo, not Hannah seeing him. My thinking is Hannah decided to turn her character Leo into IRL Leo/Wil because she was pissed off at him.
