Thank you so much! I enjoyed the book but then was perplexed by the ending. Felt kind of dumb lol.
Ok this makes sense; I must have read it too fast then. The only thing I noticed was that she never text her friend to say she got home ok after the party. I feel dumb that I didn’t pick upon this- but the book wasn’t all that good, so I’m not going to feel too bad about missing it.
Just finished the book. I think it makes sense because in the earlier emails, Cat asked Lora for her IDs and W9 when they started working together, while the HR person said she didn't need that in order to start working.
