Thanks for your comment! In "The Break" after Grandpa Mac dies, Elsie attends a party where she is taken upstairs by a male and suffers a gang-rape. I only picked this up on my second read. I still don't think we can rule Jimmy out as the father of Sparrow based on my reading. He is someone from Elsie's past when we first encounter him in The Strangers so why not a previous live-in partner?
