Oh and maybe the sovereign told him he's a traitor or he had some sort of device tracking Darrow when he went to the Jackals winter keep. Ares was there when he helped the others escape
That's an interesting theory- so then it would be Darrow, Sevro, and the obsidian army led by Ragnar. Who do you think will be the one to kill Jackal in the end? Sevro or Darrow? Or Mustang? I hope it's Sevro.

Remember when Quinn died and the Jackal was supposed to be trying to help her, and then he asked for a datapad, i can't help but think he was being a devil and tricked Darrow into giving him his datapad.. maybe then he put something in it?
OMG never thought of that! Do you think he let quinn die on purpose?
I'm not sure, maybe maybe not. He wouldn't have lost anything if he helped her live, he'd even gain approval from some people. So it depends, he either couldn't help her, let her die coz he got what he wanted and he doesnt care, or he tried and just couldn't help her
