I don’t think the Delaneys were overly privileged or disdainful. They were kids at the time. The parents were running a business. Blame Savanna’s parents, not the Delaneys!
We're talking about Savannah's memory here & her twisted concept of the Delaney's, but I'd still argue the element of elitism in the tennis world. Plenty of blame to go around in this story.
