Judith why? Up until the last chapters, there's no indication the setting is 2020. So it could have been a timeless, stand alone book, but instead will soon feel very dated & irrelevant to future readers.

Judith You don't know when the story is taking place, so why would it logically be "natural" to include the pandemic?
