Reagan That just makes me believe that maybe verity did some horrible things when she was younger. Maybe she has always the villian.

Beth M Didn't they say the parents thought they were sinners before

MacKensye I thought the same things! Too many things lined up in the "reality" or details provided from what was happening/character details/physical traits (baby's scar) from Lowen's experiences or pictures in the house, or the response from Verity's dad (no family relationship on her side), etc. Therefore, I do think the manuscript was real.

Or are we just wanting that manuscript to be true so we can justify Lowen's ultimate wants because she is the character we are most comfortable with? Meaning, do we say the manuscript is real because we WANT Verity to be the villain?

Beth M I definately think Loewen has some issues but she is still the easier pill to swallow, and I like a happy ending, so I thought maybe I was just trying to make myself feel better. However, the more I thought about it, I realized for sure if the manuscript was that fake , the husband would have read it and been like wtd, none of this happened

Kristina Thornton He said "God punishes the wicked Jeremy" and Jeremy hung up on him. He said they were super religious; I can absolutely picture a father saying this. My friend's parents said similar things to her when she left the faith.
