No one said we were thinking about him. King's character was thinking about him and we were reading the book. One has nothing to do with the other.
They are probably not obsessed per se, but horrified, embarrassed and confused how such an idiot managed to become the leader of the United States of America.
My thoughts exactly Karen - I think the logical thinking among us feel like we were living down the rabbit hole for 4 years!
How could such a horrible leader be allowed to take control of our country?
We are confused as to why people of any amount of intelligence such as R.A. Lopez in these threads, who obviously adores the most ignorant, immoral and dishonest president in history. Why do they not see what we all see?
I personally find myself much closer to Stephen King for our common feelings about the #45 clown and love his references to the orange fool!
