Thanks for clarifying that, Jay. I feel like there was a missed opportunity to give a satisfying conclusion to Martha's story, especially since she was Tom Builder's only surviving descendent. It was also kind of sad that her childhood closeness with Jack didn't seem to persist into adulthood, but I guess that's just how life goes.
