Yes agree Chelsea, feel like there could almost be an addendum to the book. Not enough there for a full sequel but definitely some more information. Perhaps sequel as her daughter is an adult and relays the story back in time?
Agree at the end she chose Jonas. And yes I think Peter didn't want to wake up to see the birds and he didn't want to take a swim with her. It's like Peter didn't really understand the backwoods like Jonas did. I would have liked a small epilogue at the end.
I never thought of the ending in this way. Two rings…
